Paying for NHS treatment

Your first visit will always begin with an examination of your mouth by your dentist. The cost of this Band 1 treatment is payable on the day of your examination. If you are a new patient to our practice you will be asked for this payment when you book your appointment.

If you require further treatment under Band 2 you will be asked to pay the balance due at your next visit. If the additional treatment is completed at the same time as your examination then the full payment is due.

Band 3 treatments can be be paid in stages.

We accept payment by cash or credit/debit card. We can take card payments over the telephone if this is of help to you.

Please let us know in advance if the cost is a worry to you – we may be able to help.
